Discussion Questions
For Week 5 Discussion question you are going to reflect on the difference between a Learning Management System and Google Classroom.
For example, as a blended learning coach that travels between multiple school districts, I have to be very familiar with all different types of learning management systems. In fact, asking about the learning management system is one of my first questions when I start to work with the school. The reason being that, I will create all of my lessons, resources, and examples in their learning management system. The more I use the program as a blended learning coach, the more the teachers will familiarize themselves with the program. Leading by example is key as a blended learning coach especially when trying to get the teachers to use the learning management system in their classroom setting.
- For the first question, share out the learning management system that your school is currently using. (If you don't have a learning management system, what are you using how are the teachers sharing out websites, resources to the students?)
- Second question, as a blended learning coach, how can you help to support the learning management system that you are currently using in your school?
